Field Trip to Best Buy for Tablet Compatibility - Surface 3, iPad Pro

Hey guys!

I've been getting a lot of questions about the Surface 3, Surface 3 Pro, iPad Pro, and more.  Are they compatible?

Hopefully this blog post will clear up a few questions.

1. Wireless connectivity - The Qwerkywriter can connect to virtually ANY of these tablets via wireless Bluetooth including the upcoming iPad Pro.  So you are set!

2. Tablet Stand - Tablets come in all shapes and sizes but we've designed the Qwerkywriter with maximum compatibility in mind.  While the thickness is limited to 1/2 inch, the side is wide open, so even tablets like the Surface Pro 3, iPad Pro, and Samsung 12+ tablets can rest nicely.

We took a field trip to a local Best Buy and did some tests.  We did get some strange looks from the security guy, but they let us take pics with no issues.  In fact, he was wildly curious! :)

Microsoft Surface 3 - Fits Perfectly! Handsome too! :)

Microsoft Surface 3 Pro - This is bigger than the non-pro but still fits just fine.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is definitely large and it does "spill" out of the side by half an inch and it's not quite flush with the rear tablet stand but ultimately, the Qwerkywriter has no trouble supporting it.

Our tablet stand is "open" on either side so it can accommodate a wide range of tablet sizes.  We're only limited by the "thickness" up to 1/2 inch.  We can only think of 1 tablet that's this thick and that's the very first generation Surface.  Most modern tablets are all under 1/2 inch and light.

If you DO have a "cover" or a protective case on your tablet and if the thickness is greater than 1/2 inch, you may need to remove the cover before putting it on the Qwerkywriter.

We'll post more pics in the coming weeks with as many tablets out there, including the iPad Pro in November.

Thanks for taking a look!
