This is my first mechanical keyboard of any kind, and I must say it is very satisfying to type on. Solid build quality as well. As some have mentioned, the fading of the lettering on the keys is real. I can see some letters fading every so slightly already after about a month of use. Will definitely monitor this in the long run. But as of right now, still a 5 star for me.
I feel like many of these products bring back nostalgia but are terrible at actually being useful. Not the Qwerkywriter. I’m incredibly impressed, and love the feel. The only issue I’ve had is that after 7 days of use, the paint of the letters on each key cap is starting to fade. I can only imagine that the paint will fade entirely after 4-6 months of use
I love retro style and super classic with black color matching with silver hardware. It’s made me felt warm and back to the past, when I was young. Great gadget for the type writer like me, as the role of radiologist. Super cool machines for reports telemedicine in the relaxing and chilling time. Somewhere in the garden,,,or besides the beach,,,awesome
It's such a beautiful thing, I can't wait to start writing on it whenever I have some free time. And that's perfect for me, because I used to take forever to get round to starting.
Here's a hint - you can download software on PC/Mac to make the authentic typewriter noises - this is a game changer! :)
It's all I ever hoped it would be. Got from the US to Sweden in only 7 days and had excellent service from UPS the whole way. It's expensive and luxurious, but there's nothing else like it. Writing on this is an absolute dream.
