I am so glad I found this keyboard and made the investment. I have used it at a convention I attend and now have it at my desk at work and get lots of inquiries about it. I love the feel and sound as I type. I only have one suggestion for an improvement. When you hit the carriage return we should hear that ratchet sound and bell ding. THAT would make this absolutely perfect

And I love there isn’t anything about it that I do not really really really like! Nice paper great design not too thick great price thank you

My first Qwerkywriter keyboard never broke down in 8 years. I am hoping for the same for the same with the new one. The extended warranty was cheap enough for me to add it as a just in case.

I used my first Qwerkywriter for eight years before upgrading to the latest one. That meant I wrote my first three novels using the original one. That's a lot of words typed over the years.

The new one is quieter and faster. I use it with the included USB-C dongle and I don't see the lag I sometimes saw with the Bluetooth of the first one. The quietness helps when I write early in the morning.

A comment about both of them. The first one never had a problem in the eight years I used it. That's because it was mechanical. The new one should last just as long. I'm a full-time writer now, so the new one should support me for my next six or more novels.

I got the Black Gold one (previous edition) for a 20th-anniversary gift from my husband and it made it through my endless papers, thesis research, and finally through obtaining my master's degree.

I decided to upgrade to this one!
Typing is still so enjoyable and satisfying. (Still takes me back to Mr. Marinelli's typing class in 6th grade.) I still find myself working longer hours on my work (I also work from home) and because I find the keyboard experience enjoyable. (And yes, even a little therapeutic.)

The "clicky" sound is oh-so-satisfying to experience, and the keys feel great to use.
Nothing feels flimsy or cheap. The keys are lightweight but also feel solid. The whole keyboard is hefty but not overbearing. I love the USB feature, so I can connect to my PC directly & charge it. Bluetooth is seamless and easily connects to my phone, iPad, and PC. The knobs and lever are able to be changed, but I kept them at default.

It looks great on my desk/workstation. (Sexy!)
It is sleek, adds a cool "wow" factor, and is definitely a conversation starter.

I'll never go back to the stock keyboard that came with my home PC.

It makes typing fun. Now when I have to use a non-mechanical keyboard it feels off.

I love this keyboard. As a software engineer, I have owned many mechanical keyboards. The quality of the build is as high as I’ve seen of any keyboard. The typing is smooth. The blue switches are lovely to type on. The nostalgic typewriter look and feel is so fun. The keys are round and sometimes feel like they’re a little smaller than a standard keyboard, but that is part of the nostalgia. I have to ensure I’m typing accurately, and that’s not a bad thing. Some of the keys are in different places than I’m used to, but it didn’t take long to adjust. All in all, highly recommend.

This is my second qwerty. I had one years ago, perhaps when they first appeared. I love it. The tap, tap, tap of keys, the full keyboard, the look, etc. My only complaint: on occasion, the bluetooth connection or usb connect fails. I tap from one F1 to F3, lights shift but still nothing from keys. After a bit of frustration, things return to the normal, lovely mode. Oh, well, I still love it, even if it is on occasion cantankerous.

Have had it for 2 weeks. In the office it stands out / is an attention getter. Either my coworkers are using headphones all the time or I just dont type that loud... nobody has complained about the clicky switches. Still may invest in a quiet switch set.
